Myanmar Under-22s and U18 football teams will play two friendly matches against the Inter Milan youth team during August as part of preparation for various international football tournaments.

The MFF and the Italian giants have been in talks about football development since last year.

Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) said the friendlies may be played at the Thuwunna youth training centre in Yangon early August.

The Under-22s are due to play in a four-country invitational football tournament in Yangon from June 28 to July 2 before the Southeast Asian Games and the under-23s Asian Football Cup from July 19 to 23.

Myanmar is hosting the Asean U18 Championship and is trying to qualify for the  AFC U19 qualifier to be held in Cambodia in early November.
