Kachin MMA fighter Aung La N Sang arrives in Yangon

Kachin ethnic Aung La N Sang, one of the best MMA fighters in the world, arrived in Yangon on March 25 and has planned to conduct an auction for a charity in Yangon and then make a visit to Kachin State, his place of birth.

Personal goods including sportswear used in MMA tournaments and the gold medal he won in North American Grappling Association Tournament will be put up for sale by auction. All the proceeds received from putting up the auction will be donated to the volunteer organizations who lend a hand to the IDPs at the refugee camps in Kachin State.

The auction will be held at No 31-A on Nawaday Road in Dagon Township. Moreover, Aung La N Sang has planned to made a trip to Kachin State to deliver the donation.

Aung La N Sang took part in the MMA tournaments in Yangon during last year, but is yet to return to his native place. He won three MMA matches last year, but in early 2017 he lost to ONE Middleweight World Champion Russian Vitaly Bigdash through scores.

The Burmese Python planned to participate in the MMA tournament to be held in Yangon during July and is determined to bring one title home to Myanmar. He is currently practicing for the world championship title.
