Yangon United FC’s winger Kyi Lin will be out of the game for one month after suffering an ankle injury.
The player will not be playing in the earlier matches of the Myanmar National League for the 2012-2013 season, an official of Yangon Utd said.
The 20-year-old winger, a Myanmar national team selected player, sustained an ankle injury in the 2012 Suzuki Cup held in Thailand.
After undergoing medical treatment for his injury, his health situation became worse.
Yangon’s reliable player will miss the match against Ayeyawady United on December 30. He has already missed friendly matches ahead of the new season.
He will also be missing the first leg matches of MNL for Yangon United. Yangon will take on Zwegabin on January 5, Rakhine on January 13, Manawmyay on January 20 and Zeyashwemyay on January 26.
Yangon, in this transfer window break, already sold out defender Yan Aung Win and striker Kaung Sithu to arch-rival Yadanapon, but it is now still under discussion whether the contracts of Myo Min Tun and Kyaw Dun will be extended.
