Nay Pyi Taw to host Southeast Asian archery competition

Myanmar will host the fifth Southeast Asian Archery competition as a dress-rehearsal for the 27th Southeast Asian Games, which will be held in Nay Pyi Taw, according to sources.
The competitions will held January 8-12 at Nay Pyi Taw Archery Sports Ground. The competitions include compound and recurve events, with 18 gold medals at stake. Myanmar has invited all Asean countries, except Timor and Brunei. The Myanmar archery team will field a 24-member team at the event. The Myanmar Archery Federation hosted the Southeast Asia Championship three times and this time will be the fourth time for them.
A South Korean coach, Le Song Ban, is training the Myanmar team for the upcoming SEA Games.
