Myanmar chief coach Antonie Hey released a tentative lineup for Myanmar national football team that is going to demonstrate two warm-up matches during October and the lineup contain 27 players.
As part of preparations for participating in the 2018 Suzuki Cup, Myanmar is going to demonstrate two FIFA international warm-up matches against Indonesia national team on October 10 and Bolivia on October 13.
Aung Thu (Police Tero), Kaung Set Naing (Samut Sakhon), Than Htet Aung (Zwegabin), Thiha Htet Aung (Zwegabin), Myo Ko Tun (Yadanarbon), Thein Than Win (Yadanarbon) and Ye Ko Oo (Yadanarbon) were added to the lineup.
“I had to watch many league matches for some months to scout the reliable players. Myanmar played against some international football matches. My tentative lineup was released by assessing current performance of the players and their talents. I believe that the players have what they need for achieving success in Suzuki Cup. Now I have paid attention to friendly matches against Indonesia and Bolivia.
“These warm-up matches are a satisfactory opportunity for our young national team. The players can seek much better experience playing first-class teams,” said Myanmar chief coach Antonie Hey.
The young players must take up more duty in the current situation. It is the best time for them. It is time for new generation players to have matured experiences and lead the team. Defender Zaw Min Tun had to be set aside. He is not only a good player but also a key one for the national team over the past years. Now it is the time for young players to take up responsibility. Zaw Min Tun became a ready player once we needed, said Myanmar chief coach Antonie Hey.
