MFF’s President attends AFF Council meeting in Malaysia

MFF President Zaw Zaw meets with Joko Driyono, Deputy President of the FA of Indonesia.
YANGON- Chairman of Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) Zaw Zaw together with Chief Executive Officer Phone Naing Zaw and General Secretary Ko Ko Thein attended the AFF Council Meeting being held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 26th.
 
During the meeting, they discussed about the ASEAN Suzuki Cup-2018 and other participants also discussed matters on holding of more competitions and forming of discipline committees.
 
Those attendees took a silence for the victims of the Laos Dam Disaster and also the earthquakes in Lombok, Indonesia. 
 
Later, the MFF’s President donated $ 100,000 each for the victims from Laos and Indonesia through the respective presidents of the Federations as well as the AFF Council also donated a total of US$ 100,000 for the victims.
 
Zaw Zaw also donated cash and kinds to the disaster-hit regions in Myanmar through his Ayeyawady Foundation.
 
He is acted as the AFF’s Vice-President and is now carrying out the development of ASEAN Football field.
 
AFF has to hold its Council Meeting at least four times per year and the MFF always attends AFF’s council meeting.
