Myanmar’s U-22 and U-18 teams are preparing to play friendly matches with the Inter Milan youth team on August 11 and 13, respectively.

Although the dates for the friendly matches were initially set for August 12 and 14, the schedule was changed as start date for SEA Games, in which the U-22 team will compete, was changed to August 14.

The friendly matches will be held at Thuwanna Stadium. Entrance fees and times will be announced by the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) later.

The MFF arranged at least two friendly matches for the U-22 team after the Asia U-23 qualifying match. This is the U-18 team’s first international friendly match with Inter Milan youth team.

Myanmar will host ASEAN U-18 championship from September 4 to 17. The U-18 team will compete in the Asia U-19 qualifying match in early November.

Inter Milan team is negotiating with the MFF to finalise the friendly matches. The MFF is in discussion with the Italian club to improve Myanmar’s football teams.
