Govt, Tatmadaw and NCA signatories scheduled to meet informal meeting next few days

The government, the Tatmadaw and ethnic NCA signatories are scheduled to meet an informal meeting next few days to discuss matters relating to the holding of the third meeting of Union Peace Conference also known as the 21st Century Panglong Conference, said Ye Baw Than Khe, Chairman of the ABSDF on May 15.
 
“Within next few days, we will seek ways after the government, the Tatmadaw and PPST-formed political team hold an informal meeting,” Ye Baw Than Khe said.
 
The third meeting of Union Peace Conference also known as the 21st Century Panglong Conference was earlier fixed in the last week of January, it was postponed to the end of April or early May due to the various reasons. The informal meeting held during April agreed on the postponement of the meeting to early May. 
 
All the leaders of the PPST still have desires to hold the third meeting the Union Peace Conference. We will seek ways in an attempt to overcome challenges and the difficulties facing us, Ye Baw Than Khe said.
 
Phado Saw Tado Hmu, general secretary of the KNU, was picked as the leader of negotiation of the PPST to meet with the government regarding the matters of politics and security. In the past, Phado Saw Kywe Htoo Win acted this position. 
 
General Saw Mutu Say Poe, who chairs the KNU will serve as the leader of PPST and General Ywet Sit, who chairs the RCSS, as the second leader.  Colonel Khun Okkar, patron of the PNLO, Ye Baw Than Khe, chairman of the ABSDF, Pu Zin Kyone, chairman of the CNF, Khine Soe Naing Aung of the ALP, Maj-Gen Saw Moe Shay of the DKBA and Dr Naw Kaphaw Htoo of the KNU/KNLA (PC) are members.
