State Counsellor holds Peace Talk with Myaungmya residents

Preparatory measure to hold peace talk between State Counsellor and residents being carried out in Myaungmya Township
PATHEIN- Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, State Counsellor, will be holding a peace talk with Myaungmya residents at the No.1 Basic Education High School, Myaungmya in Ayeyawady Region today.
She arrives in Myaungmya Township by helicopter this morning and attends the peace talk at the school.
After holding a peace talk, she will proceed to Zayar Maydani Monastery where her mother Daw Khin Kyi had donated there.
Moreover, the State Counsellor will observe chosen site for construction of Daw Khin Kyi’s Nursing Training School in Myaungmya Township and inspect collapsed Myaungmya Suspension Bridge, according to the Peace Talk’s organizers.
The peace talk will be live streamed with LED Boards at the Myaungmya sports ground.
“I will attend the peace talk as the CSOs. So, I will mainly report about Peace Forums being carried out by the CSOs. Later, I will request her to hold Ethnical Peace Talks,” said Soe Hlaing Oo who was invited to attend the peace talk.
The National league for Democracy from Myaungmya Township urged the locals to welcome the State Counsellor. 
Those who want to welcome the State Counsellor can wait in front of the Myaungmya Jute Factory, Pyinyazayar Monastery, U Ba Cho’s Statue and No.6 Basic Education High School.
Suu Kyi held the peace talks with locals and youths in Nay Pyi Taw, Panglong in Shan State, Myaetaikan village in Wundwin Township, Mandalay Region and Loikaw in Kayah State.
