Myanmar cartoonists will stage an exhibition in Yangon on August 24th to 26th in order to raise awareness and money for resettlement of flood victims across the country.

The venue will be in front of Maha Bandoola Park and all cartoonists were invited to participate in the event. Those that wish to participate in the exhibition must send their art piece that showcases natural disasters not later than August 20 to Myanmar Cartoonist Association.

“There are many requirements for flood victims for resettlement and other things. To lend a helping hand for the flood victims, we are planning to stage an exhibition. All cartoonists in the entirety of Myanmar are invited to participate in the event. The cartoon they sent must depict the natural disaster (flood). After the exhibition, cash received from selling the paintings will be donated to resettlement works,” said a cartoonist from Myanmar Cartoonist Association.

Besides the paintings drawn by cartoonists, T-shirts will be sold at the event. Those desires to participate can also send through message box of Myanmar Cartoonist Association.
