Four traffic accidents on Myawady-Kawkareik road kill three and injure eight

A total of four traffic accidents occurred on Myawady-Kawkareik road from September 5 to 10, killing three people and injuring eight, sources said.

A 12-wheeled truck carrying a backhoe on Myawady-Kawkareik road skidded out of control and turned over on September 10. The truck driver was killed on the spot.

The police lodged a complaint against the driver under Section 304 (a) of the Penal Code at Kawkareik Township police station.
