Ceiling collapses at a high school in Pyin Oo Lwin

Ceiling collapsed at the basic education high school in Zeepingyi village, Pyi Oo Lwin Township
MANDALAY-Nine students including a teacher were injured as a ceiling of a building at the basic education high school in Zeepingyi village, Pyi Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region, collapsed yesterday morning.
 
There are 52 students studying at the above school building which was built in 1997-98.
 
“A 240 sq-ft ceiling collapsed. There is no worry about serious injuries. Two students are being hospitalized. The remaining students get a minor injury,” said MP Aung Min from No.1 Constituency in Pyin Oo Lwin Township. 
 
The school board of trustees including social organization will demolish the collapsed building and they will build new school building again during this weekend when school is closed.
 
All students can study at the new building in coming Monday.
