NAYPYITAW- Dr Myint Htwe, Union Minister of Health and Sports yesterday distributed mobile tablets installing data about the health to the Departments of Public Health and Medical Services.
The ceremony was held at the office of Ministry of Health and Sports in Nay Pyi Taw.
“We bought totaling 1,917 mobile tablets during last fiscal year. We paid cash for purchasing of 10,360 mobile tablets in June. We are going to offer tender to buy 8-inch mobile tablets 1,200. We will distribute mobile tablets to the doctors from 100-bed and 200-bed hospitals in coming fiscal year 2018-19. It will bring benefits for them,” said Dr Myint Htwe.
Health Manpower Database, MoHS Mail Server (mail.mohs.gov.mm) application will be installed in the mobile tablets.
“Now, the ambassadors told us that not only Nepalese Students but also Bhutanese wanted to study in our country. Our education level isn’t low. So, other countries are keen to study in Myanmar. If they will observe our Website, they will know that the Health Ministry upgraded the Mobile data applications. We are now purchasing a lot of computers. Every person must has computer in 2018-19.In doing so, the medical staffs can know information about the health in time,” Dr Myint Htwe added.
Aiming to record the patients on the Computer, the Health Ministry will be conducting computer training courses for the health staffs.
