Over 2,700 people suffer from the mid-April strong wind

YANGON- The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement announced that strong wind brought troubles to more than 2,700 people during these days.
 
The announcement stated that strong wind hit in three village-tracts in Nattalin Township, Bago region on April 16th causing collapse to two houses so also roofs of 154 houses and five monasteries were blown away and there were 156 households comprising 601 members of victims. 
Authorities from Pyay District Disaster Management Department already provided cash and kinds to the victims.
 
Likewise, strong wind damaged over 500 houses including four monasteries in four village-tracts in Paungde Township, Bago Region, on April 16th and there were 533 households including 2,022 family victims.
 
Moreover, two houses were collapsed and roofs of 40 houses were blown away in 15 villages in Hinthada Township, Ayeyawady Region, on April 17th due the strong wind and 42 households comprising 144 members already suffered from the strong wind.
