According to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA), at least a thousand anti-material rounds have been discovered at a house in Myawady.

On December 5, MOHA announced that a raid on a “suspicious location” in Myawady City in the evening resulted in exactly 1020 12.7mm caliber bullets being found.

The announcement claimed that following investigations reveal the involvement of the tenants of the house, a husband and wife duo called San Lin and Khar Bu.

They were hiding out in Myitkyina but was later arrested during the night on the very same day.

Kachin State’s Police Superintendent Lwin Maung Thein confirmed with The Daily Eleven that they are the only ones found to be involved in this case so far.
