Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan drew 2-2 at Thuwana Stadium in their Asian Cup qualifier group stage on October 10.
Myanmar made few changes from the line-up that played a friendly against Thailand.
Kyrgyzstan scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the eighth minute and the second goal in the 48th minute after Myanmar missed a series of chances before the interval. Aung Thu scored after which Myanmar substituted Hlaing Bo Bo, Myo Ko Tun and Maung Maung Lwin to apply pressure on the away team. A late equaliser from Kyaw Ko Ko in the dying minutes earned a point for Myanmar.
Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan are on four points each in Group A but Myanmar faces a struggle in the coming matches to qualify for the final stage of the Asian Cup.
