The Aung San Thuriya Hnin Si Anyeint dance troupe will stage a performance to celebrate the birth centenary of Bogyoke Aung San on February 9 and 10 at the National Theater. Popular musicians will also take part in the troupe’s performance.

The all-star line-up includes Lin Lin, Htun Aeindra Bo and Khin Nyunt Yee.

"We will do a rehearsal for the Anyeint in the first week of February. Local musicians will lend a helping hand in this performance. The Hnin Si Anyeint will only start after their musical performances," said Maung Myo Min, director of Hnin Si Anyeint, adding that the performers are training hard for the show.

Hnin Si Anyeint is a traditional Myanmar dance troupe featuring famous actors and singers performing as supporting comedians. The troupe, formed in 2007 by director Maung Myo Min (Yintwinphit), has been well received by Myanmar audiences at home and abroad.

Nay Toe, Min Maw Kun, Kyaw Kyaw Bo and Tun Tun will perform as supporting comedians while Moe Yu San and Phoo Sone will be featured as dancers. The director said he will add another dancer whose name will be announced later.

The performances will be broadcast live on TV.  Tickets to the shows will be available at the end of this month.
