Myanmar Media 7 is filming a special video tribute to the Myanmar football teams U-20 (recently represented at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup) and U-23 that competed in the 28th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) in Singapore on Monday.

“The public is very proud of the U-20 team that competed in the U-20 World Cup and the U-23 football team that competed in the SEA Games in Singapore. Both teams have brought the kind of success that Myanmar football teams have not been able to achieve for a very long time. That’s why Myanmar Media 7 is filming this special tribute programme featuring many artists,” said Wai Min Maung, chairman of Myanmar Media 7.

He added that the 1.30-minute-long tribute programme will be released online in mid-June and submitted to online media outlets and local TV channels. All the artists involved will help promote the programme on social media.

“This kind of short video clips is widespread in our neighbouring countries like China and Thailand. This is our first attempt to do it in Myanmar. Ve Ve soft drinks is sponsoring the program,” he added.

The programme features Thein Linn Soe, Joker, A Lin Yaung, Wint Yamone Hlaing, and Khin Wint Wah. Thein Linn Soe is in charge of script writing and filming.
