Well-known hip hop singer Yè Lay will release his seventh album titled “Nauk Ta Khauk” (“Once More”) on July 12 after a two-year hiatus.

“After I got married, I went into farming and livestock breeding. I went through life’s ups and downs and there were moments I felt lost and suffered hardships. At one point, I wanted to make music again. My wife understood my feeling so she’s allowed me to follow my heart,” said the 30-year-old singer, adding he decided to go on a hiatus after marrying Aye Mya Aung, the daughter of Minister Aung Min.

“I’ve put together a selection of my best songs for the album. The recording took place whenever I had some free time away from the countryside.  This is my first step towards making a comeback to the entertainment scene,” he added.

“Nauk Ta Khauk” consists of seven songs, featuring his wife Aye Mya Aung and artists such as Hè Lay, Joker, and Si Thu Hnin Moe.

Yè Lay will hold an album signing ceremony on the launch day from 2pm to 6 pm at Junction Square. He already has new album ideas up his sleeve with a concert coming up soon.
