Thousands of Myanmar fans turned up at the first concert in Myanmar by South Korean girl group 4Minute last Saturday night at the Myanmar Event Park.

The concert, which was supposed to start at 7.30pm, kicked off 45 minutes late with the title song from their latest mini album “Crazy”.

“We’re very happy that we get to hold our first concert in Myanmar. We were a little worried that our song ‘Crazy’ would be a bit strong for the Myanmar audience. We’ll never forget that 4Minute performed a concert in Myanmar on April 4,” said the girl group.

The five-member girl group – comprising Nam Ji-hyun, Heo Ga-yoon, Jeon Ji-yoon, Kim Hyun-a and Kwon So-hyun – performed in group as well as solo. Over 20 songs were performed during the two-hour concert, including their smash hits “Volume Up”, “What’s Your Name”, “Mirror, Mirror”, and “Hot Issue”.

The outfit impressed the local fans with terms like “Mingalarbar” (Auspicious Day), “Chit Tal” (Love You), and “Kyei Zu Tin Bar Tal” (Thank You), which triggered thunderous cheers.
