Export earnings from the 2016-17 financial year totalled more than US$11 billion but the income from natural gas and finished industrial goods decreased, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
Last year's exports were valued at US$11.6 billion, up from US$11.1 in 2015-16, an increase of more than US$480 million.
The earnings from gas and finished industrial products, including clothing, were the largest.
In comparison with 2015-16, last year's industrial goods exports fell by over US$340 million. In 2016-17, foreign trade, including imports, totalled US$28.8 billion.
