Myanmar hotels win Asean tourism awards

Ten hotels across Myanmar won Asean Tourism Awards, according to an  announcement from the Director of Hotels and Tourism of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.
 
Asean Green Hotel Awards and MICE (Meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) Awards will be presented to the winning hotels during the Asean Tourism Forum to be held in Chiang Mai, Thailand from January 22 to 26
 
The five hotels that won Asean Green Hotel Awards are Hotel Akimomi in PyinOoLwin, Mandalay Region, View Point Ecolodge in Nyaungshwe in Shan State, Ngwe Saung Yacht Club in Ngwe Saung Town in Ayeyawady Region, Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort in Kawthoung, Taninthayi Region, and The Kalaw Hill Lodge in Kalaw in Shan State.
 
The five hotels that won Asean MICE Awards are Hilton Grand Ballroom in Nay Pyi Taw, Novotel Hotel Yangon Ballroom in Kamayut Township, Yangon Region, Melia Hotel Grand Ballroom in Yankin Township, Yangon Region, Hotel Max Kumudra Grand Ballroom in Nay Pyi Taw, and Thingaha Hotel Grand Ballroom in Nay Pyi Taw. 
 
The awards will be presented to winning hotels at Shangri-La Hotel in Chiang Mai, Thailand on January 26.
